Lightspace is a boutique event, function, wedding and exhibition venue located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Hatched from a converted warehouse its features include lofty designed spaces, rustic industrial chic and a Japanese inspired outdoor terrace next to the railway line.
POP UP SALES AND MARKETS
Are you a hip fashion brand dying to get rid of that excess stock, or someone wanting to host Brisbane’s next boutique market? Then we have a beautiful venue just waiting for you! Our huge internal area (660m2) and polished concrete floor is perfect for clothes racks, stalls and sales of any kind. We offer fantastic rates for Sunday or mid-week sales events.
FILM AND PHOTO VENUE
Are you looking for an upmarket warehouse space with excellent access, high ceilings (4m) and plenty of electrical power outlets? We have hosted ad shoots for the likes of Mitsubishi and even a music video clip for Natalie Imbruglia, among the others. Please contact us for more information.
CHARITABLE EVENTS
Lightspace is a venue with a social conscience and offers a discount on space hire for registered charities. Those charities and not-for-profits eligible for a community liquor permit may run the bar (with permission from us). We can also assist with the basic coordination of your event and suggest ways to make it a success.
ARTIST VENUE, MUSIC VENUE
On occasion Lightspace hosts music or artist events that are open to the public. These have to be suitable for the venue and ensure a minimum of 300 patrons will attend. Please send us a proposal. Past guests include Mark Ronson, Marcia Hines, The Jezebels, Dappled Cities, Operator Please, Last Dinosaurs and Sampology.
PRESENTATIONS
Impress your clients with a presentation in the warehouse. We offer special rates for mid-week and daytime events. We also have a sound system, projector and microphone onsite, otherwise we can recommend specialist AV suppliers.
EXHIBITIONS
Lightspace has excellent access direct off the street, a wide flat expanse, high ceilings and hanging systems in place, making it the perfect venue to display your wares

COCKTAIL PARTIES
Are you looking for an intimate venue for an engagement, birthday or celebratory soiree? Do you want the freedom to add your own unique touch?
Be the envy of your friends and hire Lightspace for that special occasion. We can configure the space to create an intimate event for 50-500. You may select the music, provide the drinks and decorate the space. We're also a short hike to the central Valley for those that want to kick on afterwards.
