From high heels to hi viz!! Ari Sturdee, the owner of Tradie Bookkeeping Specialists, has come from a corporate background to now predominantly working with Tradies onsite and off.
Having been raised by a Tradie, siblings and extended family are Tradies and now married to a Tradie (who was also raised by a Tradie), Ari and her team at Tradie Bookkeeping Specialists understand the culture of the construction industry and the pressures that come along with it.
Our experience has been that Tradie’s are great with hands on work; however, when it comes to their paperwork and ensuring they are compliant with their bookkeeping and BAS obligations, they usually need a little (or a lot) of help. This is why we specialise with the trades…there are certain ATO requirements that Tradie’s need to be aware of that do not affect other industries. Not all bookkeepers will realise the extra lodgements involved when working with those in the trades.
Ari is not only a registered BAS agent, she also has an Accounting Degree, which puts her ahead of the rest when it comes to bookkeeping.
