TJS Building Group provides fixed-price contracts and is licensed to carry out most types of construction activity in Queensland and northern New South Wales. Built to Lock-Up

By only building to Lock-Up stage we allow the new home owner to save money by completing the internal work on the home at their leisure using local contract labour, mates or his/her own skills. At TJS Building Group, we think it is important for both the client and us to agree exactly on what will be supplied when building to Lock-Up stage. It is important to remember that while on the outside the house will look completely finished as if it was fully built by TJS Building Group, on the inside of the house you can expect to find only the bare frames. The house will have a floor however it will not have floor coverings, it has external and internal wall frames but again it will not have wall sheeting (Gyprock). The following list are items which will not be supplied and are left for the new owner to complete once TJS Building Group reach Lock-Up stage. In short, while you can expect to not find much inside the home, this is an option to save money when building with TJS Building Group.

Sloping Block Designs

Sloping blocks have a better view than level blocks, giving them a higher value. And because sloping blocks work so well with elevated homes, using timber flooring means that the cool breezes will flow through the house and keep the home cool – a great example of environmentally friendly passive cooling. You are also able to put thegarage underneath the house at a lower cost. Sloping blocks also have significantly better drainage than level blocks.

Stylebuilt Transportable Home

The 10 Stages of a Stylebuilt Transportable Home 1.Visit our website. Check out all the plans available and narrow it down to a shortlist, bearing in mind that because they are all steel framed, they are extremely flexible. 2. Choose a design, one that best suits your lifestyle and budget. 3. Sign a agreement with us and pay your deposit. Your agreement will detail our set payment schedule, which will tell you exactly when we will need payments to be made. 4. Select your colour schemes, inside and out, plus kitchen benches, cupboards, tiles, floor coverings, etc. (If in doubt, simply talk to one of our expert consultants). 5. Watch your home take shape (optional) over the course of the building process (usually 8 weeks). 6. After everything has been finalised, we hand you the keys!! . 7. Call your plumber and electrician. (Or if you prefer, we can arrange for trusted tradespeople to connect the power and water for you. This is an optional extra). 8. Move into your new home! Time to crack the bubbly! 9. Report any teething problems, to our inspector when he carries out the final inspection (usually within a fortnight). 10. Give us your feedback, call us in 6 months' time so we know your delighted with your new Stylebuilt Home.
