In order to protect the coffee from becoming stale, all coffee should be kept away from heat, light, air and moisture. All bags should have a description of the coffee, the weight, grind and the ‘roasted on’ date. Ground coffee: due to it’s volatility coffee loses it’s freshness quicker than beans, hence the preference for supplying whole beans and encouraging customers to purchase their own domestic grinders.
Our coffee is roasted fresh, and to order. Ideally espresso coffee should be consumed within 3-14 days from roasting. Pre-ground retail packs of coffee should be treated as a fresh food product. We deliver weekly and prefer to deliver smaller quantities more frequently, rather than compromising the quality of the coffee.
