We had a standing booking of possibly many months while I had to be interstate taking care of my terminally ill brother. My daughter was left at home to take care of our two dogs, our home and all that entails, while also working and studying part-time. Kimberly's was hired to walk our two girls in the middle of each of the four days that my daughter couldn't be at home. Our girls cannot be left outside or in the house unsupervised so they have been crate-trained but obviously could not be left in these crates all day while my daughter was at work. She would text Kimberly's if there was a change to the standard four days, which did happen a few times.
She was horrified one evening when she came home and realised that Kimberly's had not come to walk our girls in the middle of the day. Their excuse? My daughter had not sent them a text to remind them to turn up for their standard booking. They took no responsibility whatsoever, blaming my daughter, me, pretty much everyone and everything except for themselves. Quite frankly, at the end of the day, even if the arrangement was that my daughter should contact them every weekend, if she didn't, they still should have either turned up or, at the very least, contacted her to make sure she was okay and the arrangement was still in place.
I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them. Every opportunity I get I will tell people how they left our dogs in their crates all day without water, food or the ability to stretch their legs and relieve themselves and they then took no responsibility for it. It was a standard booking, for many months, and they didn't turn up. Bottom line - they didn't honour the arrangement we had.
