Character Creations began as a Custom Mascot Design business in 2002 by award winning Costume Designer, Elisha Baartz. In 2006 the first Character Creations Fancy Dress Shop opened in the northern Perth suburb of Balcatta. The attention to detail that was synonymous with Character Creations’ work was now on full display to the public.
A collection of brand new costumes, wigs and accessories were sourced from New York and adorned the stylish new costume store. With the addition of some amazing in-house designed costumes and a fantastic online costumes store, Character Creations made its mark as Perth’s Newest Costume Hire shop.
Today Character Creations has 1 great store in O’Connor. New costumes are added to our collection each month, and we still love to put our personal touches to them so our customers can be the best dressed in town.
