I completed my undergraduate studies and graduated from The University of the Witwatersrand with the degree of Bachelor of Dental Science on the 24th June 1993 and my formative years as a clinician were spent in General practice in Johannesburg and in London. In 1995 when I was given the opportunity to further my studies and to act a part-time clinical supervisor in the department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery in my alma mater whilst in full time private practice. It has always given me immense personal satisfaction in teaching! coaching my fellow colleagues. My professional arena of academic interest has always been centred in aesthetics and oral surgery and as a progression from that moved into dental Dental Implant Placements in 1999 and as a corollary thereof I begun post-graduate studies in 2007 and graduated ‘Cum Laude’ from The University of the Western Cape with a post Graduate Diploma in Dentistry (Dental Implant Placements) on the 12 March 2008. I have a wide scope of general practice experience including aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, Dental Implant Placements, fixed and removable prosthodontics, Conservative dentistry, periodontics, oral medicine and orthodontics. I actively partake in Continuing Professional Development CPD and am currently registered with the New Zealand Dental Council and AHPRA — Dental Board of Australia and the Australian Dental Council.
I have the privilege of treating high profile patients, who are constantly in the public eye and media, as well challenging extreme makeover clinical cases from which I derive an immense pleasure both from a philanthropic, academic and professional perspective. My practice environment is personal, peaceful, efficient and private.
